Hi! My name is Ginger, and I am looking for my forever home! I had a bit of a rough start as someone dumped me and six other dogs on the side of a highway. Can you believe that? We didn't know what we did wrong and were running along the highway. But, on Easter morning this really nice lady saw us and saved us! We were tired, hungry, and scared, so when she called us to her we followed her right into her backyard! Her dog diabetic Facebook group raised funds for her to care for us adorable puppies. She then called SSRR, and we were taken into rescue. Thank goodness!!

It was a joint effort getting us all to safety, and I am so thankful. It was no fun being on the streets. The woman who saved us spent lots of time holding and playing with me, so I am very used to human contact. I am told I am very spunky and playful. I love to bury toys and chews, but my favorite thing is to play with other dog and human friends. I am learning my manners and continue to work on potty training. I learn really fast! I will still need more training, as I am just a pup after all. Please adopt me, I will love you forever! Here is a video of me playing with my sisters. Look how cute I am!!

Step 1:   Please complete the adoption application in full; incomplete applications WILL NOT BE PROCESSED

Step 2:   Our Lead Adoption Coordinator will contact you and confirm your application has been received (please use our Contact Us form if you have not gotten a response within 7 days).

Step 3:   After you have received confirmation from our Lead Adoption Coordinator, your application will then be forwarded to communicate with one of our Adoption Coordinators.  The Adoption Coordinator is your point of contact during the adoption process.  

Step 4:   Once the Adoption Coordinator has finished processing your application, a volunteer will be selected to contact you to schedule a home visit. Home visits allow us to see where the dog will live, discuss any questions you have and review our adoption contract.

Step 5:   Once the application process is completed, the adoption package goes to the board of directors for a 24 hour review.
