Brook is an adorable little pixie of a girl who is approximately 3 ½ month old. She was found as stray with her siblings in rural North Carolina.  Not having much contact with people, she is a little shy at first but after given time to settle in she exudes happiness.  She loves to wag her tail and does a little side shimmy when she is really happy.  She loves dogs and cats alike and absolutely lives for play time with her toys.  She really is quite the little social butterfly so she would do best in a home that has other dogs to play with and she really enjoys belonging in a group of friends.  She is crate trained and potty trained, though in a new home this will be a continuous process with a puppy.  She is a good girl and will even let you know if she has to go out.  She walks on a leash with a little guidance.  She has a lighter frame that only can be describe as princess-like and given that she was found as a stray, her complete parentage is unknown. She is a super happy girl that would love a family to call her own.

Step 1:   Please complete the adoption application in full; incomplete applications WILL NOT BE PROCESSED

Step 2:   Our Lead Adoption Coordinator will contact you and confirm your application has been received (please use our Contact Us form if you have not gotten a response within 7 days).

Step 3:   After you have received confirmation from our Lead Adoption Coordinator, your application will then be forwarded to communicate with one of our Adoption Coordinators.  The Adoption Coordinator is your point of contact during the adoption process.  

Step 4:   Once the Adoption Coordinator has finished processing your application, a volunteer will be selected to contact you to schedule a home visit. Home visits allow us to see where the dog will live, discuss any questions you have and review our adoption contract.

Step 5:   Once the application process is completed, the adoption package goes to the board of directors for a 24 hour review.
