My name is Annabelle, or Bella, and I want to find my forever home. I’m a bit shy of new people at first, but I warm up and attach very quickly. Once I’m comfortable with you, I’m very affectionate, and love to have my human’s approval. I’m very friendly and just want to be near my humans.
Right now I’m letting my serious side show – mainly because I have been so many places in the past year. You see, I was picked up as a stray in Utah and put up for adoption. A very nice lady in Florida read my bio and decided to take a chance on me. I arrived at her house in December and we fell in love. However, I am somewhat ashamed to admit that tiny little people make me nervous and unfortunately for me my new “mom” also had her 18 month old granddaughter living with her. The child’s movements took over my usual placid nature and I nipped the child. My “mom” was so sad to have to re-home me but made perfectly sure that I was not going to be set adrift. So she contacted SSRR who graciously opened their hearts and a foster home to me. So once again I am looking for a new forever home.
A bit about my personality – I love to run around a fenced in back yard – the faster the better. I love to play ball and go for walks but I also like to relax and just be a couch potato – or a floor potato – whichever you prefer. I’m totally enthralled with body massages – I can’t get enough of them. I am good with both male and female dogs that are around my size. Certainly at this time I would prefer no tiny humans (under the age of 12) and no cats – which probably rules out small dogs – but maybe not? I’m totally house and crate trained. I need a family that wants to work with me to help me feel secure – and to reassure me that I won’t be abandoned once again.
Please consider me if you are looking for a 4 legged family member. I would be forever grateful.
