|
Hello! I am Dixie Rose, a real southern sweetheart, everybody that meets me says so. I managed to crawl into a warehouse in Memphis, TN and the employees took me to Memphis Animal Hospital where it was discovered I was severely dehydrated, emaciated, had heartworms, a respiratory infection and of course I had been used as a puppy factory.
When I first arrived at my foster home I had to be coaxed to go inside the first few days but I quickly learned I like being inside. I live with 2 other Rottweilers, male and female, and we get along great. I have not met any cats yet, just a few squirrels that I ignore. I am house and crate trained, walk well on a leash, know come, sit, down, give paw and hurry up. My favorite things to do are roll around on my back while making silly noises and of course cuddling. OH! I also like children of all ages. I am very gentle with 4 year old that visits me, even when she makes me sit for a treat FOREVER before giving it to me.
I will be ready to go to my forever home after March 20th when I complete heartworm treatment. YAY!! No more heartworms or puppies for me.
