Kane is a 3 year old male Rottweiler that hadn’t known much love in his short life. Kane ended up at the Memphis Animal Shelter with no name and no voice. We saw Kane and his story and decided that he was worth rescuing. Due to his conditio n he may otherwise have been euthanized in the shelter. We have found a great foster for this boy. That foster is the one who gave Kane his name.

Poor Kane ’s story is not a happy one at all. He was obviously abused. He was very hand shy and if you raised your hand he fell to the ground and cowered. Kane was either THROWN OR FELL OUT OF A SECOND STORY WINDOW. He was Heartworm positive and need to be treated for that as well.

Kane ’s foster family has done wonders with him and have ensures that he receives all of the love that he has been denied for the 3 years that he's been alive. Kane is now finished with his heartworm treatment and has learned what love and being part of a family are all about.
