Charlie Brown is a second time around alum of SSRR. He was adopted at the beginning of 2015 when he was just a 4-1/2 month old puppy. At the grand old age of 1 year old (his birthday was August 22nd ), he is once again looking for his fur-ever home.

Now don't get the wrong idea about this boy, he is 75 plus pounds of high energy and boundless love. He just falls to pieces when you give him belly rubs. He's an excellent foot warmer when he calms down and wants to be with you. He knows how to play with other dogs, including chase, keep away and tug! His obedience manners will probably always need refreshing, but as with most teenagers, reminders are necessary because of the short teen-age attention span. Charlie has a hard time deciding which is more fun - being with his person or rough-housing with 'the guys'. It's a tough life, but choices have to be made at times.

CB has excellent house manners - he waits nicely while you put his meals on the floor or in his kennel. If you need to, for whatever reason, you can even put your hand in his food bowl or take it away from him and he lets you! I don't know about you, but someone had better not try that with my food - I'm apt to put a fork in their hand! LOL

He is housebroke and also knows how to use a pet door. He is kennel trained and doesn't give anyone grief about being in one. His obedience commands are Come, Heel, Wait, Sit, Down (still working on this one), Kennel Up (go into your crate), Leave It and Easy.

He has been kid tested - older or sturdy youngsters might be best - and cat tested: very interested but not to the point of KILL THE CAT! And, of course, he adores any teenager or adult who will give him attention!

Charlie's ideal home will either have a playmate for him OR a person (or several persons) who are active and include Charley in their activities. Please take a look at this special boy, he has lots of love that he wants to give to his new family if that is you!
