|
Cici is a very sweet and beautiful 70 pound (or so), 3 year old female Rottweiler who was surrendered to the Norfolk, VA shelter because her owner couldn’t afford to take care of her any longer. From the l
ooks of her, Cici’s previous owner had taken pretty good care of her prior to surrendering her. She could stand to put on a few pounds but other than that she is in great health. She can be a bit cautious around people at first but warms up very quickly. Once she gets to know you (which doesn’t take very long at all) she is super sweet. She has lived with older children (ages 11-14) and has done very well with them. She has also been around a 4 year old and was very gentle with him.
CiCi
likes to play with shadows. It’s really the cutest thing to watch. She gets all excited and her little nub and butt wiggle like crazy as she's trying to jump on your shadow. You have no idea what you’re missing by not having this incredibly sweet little girl in your life. She's about as close to perfect as a dog can get. Once you meet her, I guarantee you that she’ll melt your heart.
Update: Today (9/6/2014), we went to Mount Trashmore Park here in Virginia Beach. We didn't realize that the Out of the Darkness Community Walk - Hampton Roads was happening today. There were literally thousands of people there, as well as lots of dogs and young kids.CiCi got to meet a whole bunch of people and kids that loved on her. She was excited to play with the dogs she saw go by but once I told her no, she stopped and sat or laid by my side. CiCi got lots of compliments on what a good girl she was
