About Daphne | |

|
Daphne was confiscated from her owner by Virginia Beach Animal Control, since he was convicted of animal abuse. She’s a super sweet girl that just wants to be loved. In return, she’ll give you lots of love back.
Daphne is being fostered by a really great family in Virginia Beach, VA. She’s not getting along all that well with the female dog, as they are trying to sort out who is dominant. She gets along with other dogs but would need to go to a home with a more submissive dog. She absolutely loves kids! She is a strong and powerful puppy though and can easily knock over the younger kids. Right now she is good with ages 10 and up but as she matures she would be fine with all kids. Daphne is house trained and hasn't chewed or eaten anything she shouldn't since being with her foster family. She does not seem to counter surf either. She does jump up on people but she is very smart and easily trained. She goes in her kennel at her leisure and takes treats nicely. She will bark at strangers but as long as she’s told that they are fine, she will go and greet them. She loves Kongs, bones, and other toys. She is very agile and is a really great girl.
