Hi! My name is Scout! I am a sweet young guy who has never met a stranger. When I was introduced to my new foster siblings, my foster mom made us meet one at a time in the front room. I immediately walked up to each dog: tail wagging and head cocked and said, "Would you like to play?" Then she opened the door to show me the rest of my new house and I was so excited! I ran past my foster mom and began wrestling with my foster sister. I am good with both small and large dogs. I have a small foster brother and I am gentle with him. I play rougher with my foster sibling who is slightly larger than me and very gently with my small brother. Mom also introduced me to these things called cats that I am very interested. Mom took me to meet one that is a very take charge guy. I sniffed him and he smacked me on my NOSE! I didn't know what to do so I looked at my foster mom and then sniffed the cat again. It smacked me again! But I didn't get upset. Mom said I was good because I didn't get up or move towards the cat.
Mom says I am very smart because I know how to open drawers and countersurf, I even wait for her to leave the house so I won't get in trouble! Once mom came home from work to find one of the kitchen drawers open and the contents mostly missing. It was her candy stash. There were lollipop sticks and life saver wrappers on the kitchen floor. The next day I did it again so mom moved the candy! Mom says I am very strong and need additional leash training. I am still in the puppy stage so when I get pets, I get excited and will beg for more attention by jumping up. My foster mom says this will decrease with age and training.
