My name is Dexter and I am one of five puppies rescued! I now live with my sister Deb in southern South Carolina where we love to spend our time playing ALL day! My foster mom tells me all the time how smart we are. I always tell my mom when I have to go potty and I am working on sitting nicely when told. I love everyone, but must admit I’m a shy guy at first, so it can take me awhile to build confidence and be myself. My doctor says I’m about six months old and at thirty pounds I will be a smaller Rottie. I’d guess no more than sixty pounds. My favorite things to do are play with my sister and my big brothers, a Mastiff and a Rottweiler, chew bones (or anything else I can get my grubby little paws on hehe) and cuddle up for a nap with whoever has an open seat! I’m a GREAT cuddler and will sleep soundly in your arms if you let me =). I also live with a kitty cat, but she is very shy of me so we don’t talk much, but when she does come out I am very good and smell her nicely from a few feet away. My ideal family is one with lots of energy! I want a family to call my own that will play with my daily and take me for runs and walks. I love to jump and my mom says I am very agile and probably part Dobie. I don’t know what those words mean, but if they’re anything like the words “cute” and “loveable” then she sure is right! I can scale low barriers and weave in and out of my big brothers feet with ease! I am just a bundle of energy as all puppies are! Do you think I could fit in with your family? I think I could! I just want a family to love and play with me, and of course have lots of patience. I am a puppy after all and will take lots of training to become the wonderful dog I just know I can be. This year I asked Santa for a family, I sure hope he comes through!
