About Oso | |
|
|
Oso came to us with fleas and very itchy, dry skin and hot spot sores all over. Despite all this, he was so friendly with such a happy personality. His skin and sores are all healing very nicely and his fur is looking a lot better. He eats his food very fast but we are working on sitting and waiting for his food and he's doing pretty well with that.
He's been very friendly meeting new people, wagging his little tail. While he is very friendly, we have noticed that he seems more cautious and unsure when he initially sees people when we are out on a walk. Oso has such a playful and goofy personality and loves playing with his ball. He is still learning how to release the ball and boundaries with sharing toys and giving space to his foster brother. While he loves to play he still also loves to play bite and will need continual work on those types of manners.
We think Oso would do great in a home with another young, playful dog as all he wants to do is try and play with his foster brother. Oso is crate trained but he sleeps uncrated at night and does just fine. Oso is great in the car and is very calm on car rides. While we can't attest to this because we don't have one, it was previously said that Oso is good with cats.
We think Oso will melt your heart with his little bear face and wagging nubby tail!
