About Axle | |
Axle came to Southern States Rescued Rottweilers (SSRR) as an owner surrender through no fault of his own. In his first home, Axle lived with 2 children ages 10 & 14. Due to his size and playful nature older children would be best since he’s a big goofball.
Axle is a sweet boy who loves his ball and loves for you to play with him. He is high energy and can be too much for other dogs so proper introduction is extremely important. He likes to chase squirrels so no cats. He does knuckling with front paws sometimes when playing and when he stops while going for a walk. He high steps so you hear him walking around in the house.
Axle knows sit, down and come. Ant means no. He is working on not pulling on a leash. He will go in his crate for treats. Axle is aa great boy but can be headstrong at times. Therefore, he will need a Rottie experienced owner .
