Hi!  My name is Stella.  I am an 85 pound female Rottie mix, but I am a 100% Love Bug!  My original family LOVED me so much (really they spoiled me haha), and I must be really lucky because I love everyone.  My new foster Dad says I am great with dogs, new people, and really nothing bothers me.  He calls me a velcro dog, whatever that is.  I am an "old soul" because I am not only smart but wise beyond my years.  It is a calmness that comes with having spent my whole life being loved and treated really well.  My original family said I was good with children as well.

I am healthy, house trained and getting better with a crate.  I am out of the puppy stage however, so prefer to couch surf when left alone because I don't chew or get into trouble.  My foster Dad also tells me that I don't even know I am a dog.  I am getting leash trained and improving quickly, and still learning some manners particularly when it comes to begging.  I need a fenced yard, and to always be on a leash because I love to chase things that run fast.  Squirrel!  I do not resource guard toys or food, and get along really well with the old "senior" lab who lives here.  I am not an alpha dog, and most happy just being part of pack or really just around people.  I love people.

I have basic obedience commands down, but being part Rottie I have to want to do what I am being asked.  Remember, I am pretty smart so just tell me what you want and you can tell by the look in my eye if I will do it or not haha!  I am calm in a car, and while I don't love baths I listen well.  I love to be pet, my belly rubbed, and just any attention so training me is easy.  I am a bit camera shy, but that is the only shy thing about me.

If you are interested in bringing me into your pack, or just looking for a love bug companion please drop my foster a line.  I think life is great, and I will bring tons of love into your house!
