Hello! My name is Abby and I wanted to take a moment to tell you about myself. You see, I'm a 2 year old Rottie looking for my forever home so I think its important you get to know me and I get to know you! I'm living with my foster family in Irmo, SC and am loving it so far! Yet, I think there’s something more for me out there.

I came into rescue as a stray all the way out in Texas and SSRR took me in. I love to play and I love to chase balls in the yard, especially tennis balls and baseballs and .... ok ok, any type of ball works! I also love belly rubs and love and affection. I'm basically your perfect stereotypical dog! I do get nervous sometimes, I think I'd do well with someone who wants to exercise me a lot, like going on runs and playing fetch often, it would help me burn off some energy! I do really well on a leash after all!

I would also love someone who doesn’t have small dogs or cats, I like dogs my size, but the small ones... I just don’t understand them! I would be happy to have my own kids too, but I can be shy, and as I said, sometimes nervous so I'd do best with kids who understand a dog and their needs, so 10 or up would be best for me. I am crate trained and house trained and I love to "sit" for you. Maybe we could learn more things together! I'd love to learn more commands and obedience together, it would really allow us to grow together!

I think that’s all the important stuff about me for now. So what about you? Do you have a hand that can rub a belly and throw a ball? Do you want to commit to caring for a friend who will learn and grow with you? Perhaps we can be really great together! I can’t wait to find my person!!
