Hello! My name is Bogie! I am 2 years old but they haven’t been very happy until recently. When I was picked up as a stray dog it was discovered I had a severe infection in one leg that had also been broken and was left to heal on it’s own and, of course, I also had heartworms.
Fast forward to today. My leg has been treated and I have gone through treatment to get rid of those nasty old heartworms. Best of all!! I am in a foster home now that is teaching me how to feel loved and safe. I LOVE to cuddle up and give lots of kisses, play with rawhides and explore everything new. Oh! I also love playing with the 2 females and a cat that I live with. I’m not only handsome, I’m smart too. I am house and crate trained and know some basic commands. I went to something called obedience training so I could learn to be even more of a gentleman.
I would do best in a home with older children, 8 or older, just because I still get so excited to be able to play I may accidentally bump into a small child. Everyone that meets me says what a sweet boy I am, I can’t help it, I just like to love on everyone I meet.
