About Scout | |
|
|
Scout is a very playful girl. She's dog friendly and loves to play. Her favorite game is tug of war. She really enjoys chewing and loves antlers, Kongs, and other hard toys.
She's crate trained and really enjoys her crate. She sleeps in it at night and does well during the day while her foster mom is at work. She has had no accidents in the house or in the crate.
Scout loves to cuddle and will nuzzle into your lap. There are no rules the foster's home preventing dogs from getting on the furniture, so she loves to sit on the couch with them while they watch TV. She's very responsive to vocal commands and listens when we tell her "off." She knows sit, shake, and is making progress with "go kennel" when it's time for her to go into the crate. Scout is very smart and responds strongly to positive reinforcement.
Her current foster doesn't have any children, but the temporary foster home that held her, after being pulled from the shelter, had two young children (under the age of 10) and Scout was great with them.
