Meet Friday! The dog with the looks, personality, and charm to make him "Dog of the Year" in any household!

Friday is a Rottweiler & German Shepard Mix. Brown and golden colored. With a handsome, squishy, and chunky face! Gorgeous coat. Shiny. Healthy and vibrant look to him. He's about 68 lbs (up from the low 50's when he first came to us neglected and starving!). Neutered, UTD on all shots, Heartworm Preventative and Flea & Tick Meds. Micro chipped.

He is an empathetic, playful (get ready because he's oh-so-playful and energetic!!), snuggle-bear and your soon-to-be rock! Friday cares so much about how others feel and wants everyone in the household to be happy and loved! This is all he wants! To love and be loved! So simple. He'll be that shoulder you cry on, soft fur to bury your face in, cheek to press to your own with eyes closed-- he's the best friend you didn't know you were missing. Friday loves you already-- and you've only just met through a picture!

Friday would flourish in a household where he is not left alone all day. He has anxiety from being abandoned at a very young age. Solitude, scavenging, and desertion are things he sadly learned best after being left to roam the rural countryside for many months until he serendipitously came into our hands. He is fearful of being left alone for long periods of time and can get into quite naughty behavior if left to his own devices for too long. He longs to trust that a family will always be there for him. He craves frequent two-legged and/or four-legged companionship. No more solitude!

He has seemingly been hit on repeated occasion-- as can only be surmised by his penchant for cowering and hanging his head low in undeserved defeat. He being so young, though, his beginning years should be but forgotten memories when he meets and belongs to his true forever home.

He loves dogs (loves to play with them!) and is funnily impartial to cats. He ADORES and DELIGHTS in children. Do you have a child playmate elementary school age and up for him to play with, cuddle next to, sleep beside? Then Friday is your child's next best friend too! He will be over-the-moon over such an innocent and playful small human companion and fiercely loyal to the whole family unit-- from the smallest to the tallest.

He takes well to training-- thrives off of order, consistency, and interactive instructions. He is very intelligent! What he could learn and do if someone took the time to train him! His eyes dance when "lessons" begin-- bottomless eyes that see to the depths of your soul! Not only seeing, knowing, but begging for only one thing: to be loved eternally and wholeheartedly. Without any "take backs."

He longs to be a pet in a home with a fence because he likes to run and stretch his legs when the mood strikes him; so he needs a good protective boundary to keep him safe for when this free-spirited mood may strike his fancy!

He would love a playful and friendly canine companion to help him learn the ropes in his new home. He may vie for the alpha position, so a home where he can take that spot happily by all or co-exist in comradeship as a "close second" alpha would be ideal. Though, too, if he were just one-on-one with a human pal, consistently and frequently, and no other furry friends in the house, this too could be exactly what this dog needs! As long as he is with a loved one, has someone beloved to play with (don't forget he's so very playful!) and to snuggle with, he is eternally happy and content.

Friday has TOO MUCH LOVE TO GIVE to be without a home and family! Do you have a warm embrace that will never grow cold and an open LOYAL heart for Friday ? A TRULY FOREVER home? If so, he would love to meet you!
