Hi Everyone!

My name is Rossi and I am the happiest, handsome fella you would want to meet.

My former humans dumped me at a South Carolina shelter without much explanation, except my name was Rocky, my age and I loved kids. Lucky for me, SSRR had a foster, so I escaped going back to 'the room', and instead journeyed up to Yorktown, Virginia.

It was quickly seen that someone spent time with me before, I knew basic obedience. I would be SO proud and just beam with pride when I executed a sit, down and shake command to show how smart I was!

I was heartworm positive, but was successfully treated and have a clear bill of health. I am just simply a favorite at the vet clinic. They said my biggest problem is I want to shower everyone with kisses !!

I do like to play, so don't let my age fool you. I can keep up easy with the younger rottie girls. My foster mom says I do play a bit boisterous and hard which does offend some of the Rottie  ladies, but they let me know to settle down and I do!!   I do like the larger ladies !!! I am not fond of other boy dogs and not fond of smaller dogs-girls or boys. Foster mom says my chase/prey drive is high, so SSRR recommends NO small dogs or cats. In fairness to ME, I haven't been around a cat, foster mom makes that call on how I behave around her whippet dog ladies.

I LOVE toys, balls, hard chew toys like Nylabones. I will carry them around and even entertain myself.

I'm a big boy, weighing in at 96 lbs, which my vet family at Seaford Veterinary Clinic says is perfect for me.

Do you want a happy fella? Who will adore you and give you kisses? I am not destructive in the house, I am crate trained and housebroken.

I will go on a walk or play ball in the yard.

Thank you for listening to my story,

Love, Rossi
