Hi!  I'm Lola..  I have been with my foster family almost a year now..  Throughout this past year, I have accomplished ALOT!!

When I came to my foster family I was Heartworm POSITIVE.  So I had to go through treatments which were hard on me to kill off those nasty creatures..  I am now Heartworm NEGATIVE, YAY ME!!!

I have also had surgery to remove my back dew claws and "lump" off of my right side, which I'm glad cause that thing was painful for me when someone would pet me in that area.

So enough about that... Let's talk some about me, Lola...  :)

When I came to my current foster, I was very nervous and not sure what to expect... As did my new foster parents!! After a few days of getting settled in, and finding my "spot" I let them in!

I'm still nervous at first of meeting new people, but it's almost like if you are in the house you are good to go!! As long as you pet me..   I'm working on my outside manners of meeting new people.

So anyways, here are some of my issues I am getting back to working on..

Currently I am starting to learn how to mingle with other dogs.. As of right now it would be best if I was the only dog in the house.  Let's see how things work out for me with getting along with my foster brother and sisters.

And absolutely NO CATS!!!  That is a no no for sure..  And for children, I'm not too crazy about the fast movements of younger kids.. So NO SMALL CHILDREN..

Once I gain your trust, its all over but the belly rubs!!!
I love going for car rides, but need the window cracked some for longer rides so I don't get car sick. And going for walks, just got to keep in routine of walking on leash.

I prefer a routine, that I can get settled in with, I love to learn, but I would rather please my owner by "doing right".

I'm crate trained, as that's where I sleep every night and during the day while everyone is at work. But when you're home, all I want is to be with you!!!!

I'm a silly girl, and I like playing with Laser lights. When I play tug-a-war or anything I am VERY vocal, and it can be VERY intimidating if you're not use to it.. But I mean no harm when I am playing.

I'm sure my foster momma could go on and on about me, but they don't want me stealing ALL the attention.. So if you think I may be a fit for you and your family please send an email about me!
