About Ozzy | |
|
|
Ozzy is part of a bonded pair, with his sister Izzy. They came to us from a shelter in Virginia where they were dropped off due to a divorce. Ozzy was reported to be six years old but our vet thinks that he is closer to three.
Ozzy is very well behaved and very loving. He loves to play, but will settle down very quickly and be lazy, he is an inside couch potato. Ozzy loves to play so much that he ruptured his left cruciate ligament playing with the jolly ball. He had TPLO surgery on
Mar 30th
and has recovered fully. He is now ready to play with Izzy and his beloved jolly ball.
Ozzy is housebroken and doesn’t chew on things that don’t belong to him. He is good with other dogs, both small and large, and good with CATS!! He is also very good with kids. We were told that he lived with kids at his previous home and got to sleep with them at night.
Ozzy, along with his sister, was pretty shy and reserved when he first got to his foster home, but it only took a few days for his personality to shine through. Ozzy likes to ride in the car. He behaves very well at the vet and the groomer.
Ozzy and Izzy will let you know when someone enters the house. They are very good watch dogs. He walks very well on leash and knows sit and down. He is currently working on learning other commands.
Please feel free to email us if you are interested in this pair. Ozzy MUST go to a home with his sister. They will not be split up.
