|
If you're looking for a huge, huggable, snuggly dog and don't mind constant big, wet kisses, Angus is your dog! Angus loves everything and everyone - men, women, children, dogs, cats, squirrels, inanimate objects - if you cross his path, you're going to get kisses; he is an equal opportunity slobberer. He knows all basic commands and walks perfect on a leash. He's a big dog, somewhere around 110 lbs, but very, very gentle. He loves to play tug games and ball. Angus is a big hit wherever he goes, making sure all get his attention, he keeps track and doesn't miss anyone.
Angus would probably be a good dog to visit nursing homes or children's hospitals. He does have arthritis in his back and some hip issues, but doesn't let that get him down. He likes riding in the car and can get in and out on his own providing it's not that high. He can also get on and off the couch and a fairly low bed. He does not do stairs. He enjoys cuddling on the couch with his human and short walks around the neighborhood. Angus was heart worm positive, but has already been treated. He also had double entropion surgery to correct his eye problems.
