About Colby | |
Colby is a fun-size Rottweiler, full grown and just under 50 lbs. He's a curious, playful boy who loves to stay near his humans. He gets along well with other dogs, and doesn't mind the cats, even when they lick him. He is great in the house, and will make himself at home by scattering his beloved chew toys all over. He'll run and play in the back yard, then he's perfectly happy to curl up next to you or at your feet, or follow you around to help while you do things in the house. Colby's been a quick learner, and knows "sit," "down," and "gentle" (for taking treats - he LOVES treats). He gets excited and pulls a bit when he first goes out on his leash, but settles down fairly quickly. The pet store is great fun, as he loves all the dogs and humans, regardless of size.
Colby is anxious to please and has decided quickly that he loves having a house, a back yard, and a family, and doesn't mind at all sharing the love with the other dog or cats. He's happy to jump in the car for a ride, and he'll sleep on his bed or in a crate (although he prefers sleeping in or beside the "people" bed.).
