"Girls just want to have fun" is Millie's outlook on life. Having come from a shelter in Georgia, she was extremely thin, sad & abandoned. Millie is so happy to get a second chance at life she just soaks up everything you give her: love, instruction, attention & play! She is enjoying a puppyhood she never had & is a little rambunctious but we're working on that. She can be mouthy when she gets excited, just like a pup although she is approximately 1 to 2 years old, but she can be redirected by giving her a toy or "no bite" command. She is learning manners, some obedience & how to behave like a lady. Millie loves to go for walks & walks well on leash. She does well with dogs, small or large, & cats and, in typical Rottweiler fashion, just wants to play. She'd love an active home with dogs who like to have fun, too. Millie is house trained & kennel trained, just give her a Kong stuffed with yummy peanut butter & she'll go right into her kennel. She would prefer to sleep in your room so she can do her "job" which is protecting you from any scary moths that might invade your sleep. She has shown no inclination to be on the furniture but she might be coaxed. Since Millie is a tall Rottie, I would suggest that any children in the household be over 10 years old as she could easily knock down a small child by just turning around.
Are you Millie's forever play mate? She will shower you with love & kisses (when asked) and FUN! She's so adoring & lovable, all she wants is a soft bed, kind words & love. And, of course, the toys she has picked out for herself: a frisbee, squeaky ball & an old slipper.
