About Axel | |

|
Axel's owners had to find him a new home because he was too much for them to handle and they have another small very old dog that Axel wanted to play with all the time and
it caused stress on their other dog. The new owners contacted them and said they need to return him because he needs entropion surgery on his eyes and they couldn't afford it. Axel is a 3 year old awesome boy. His previous owners have 4 kids, so he is use to kids. He likes to play and is very active.
Axel has had professional dog training, is housebroken, good with kids, HW negative, up to date on immunizations, great with people, active yet sleeps REAL soundly, loves to play tug of war and fetch. He has been around small dogs, but not much around big dogs, and has never been around cats.
Axel has gone through his entropian surgery. He's a good guard dog in the respect that he barks whenever someone comes near the house...he loves to play. At 110 lbs his play mate should be closer to his size and not a small dog, He loves small dogs but doesn't realize how big he is. He loves to be with people and doesn't like to be left outside alone. Axel will need some additional training since he pulls on the leash. He will be evaluated to see about other dogs. We believe he is much happier now that he can see. He likes to look at everything and follow the birds. He's such a sweet boy.
