Cash is fun to be around. He is lively and happy with lots of potential. He’s very affectionate and lays his head right in your lap for loving. He lets you trim his nails and clean his ears, too. Trainer Amy Robinson has enjoyed working with him and finds him quick and smart. Cash improves with socialization. He has attended Farmer’s markets and park events and gets stimulated when he sees another dog making lots of eye contact, but he acclimates soon.
Other dogs: Cash has met Petunia, a large lab, through a fence and Cash was friendly despite being a little intense. She likes Cash and is relaxed around him. They have walked together side by side calmly but have not played since Cash was getting neutered. He hasn’t been close to male dogs.
He has been good around the kids. He’s been introduced to their shouts and running and has not been too reactive at all. It seems he may have kid experience.
Cash arrived at his foster home after being transported for 2 full days showing a lot of class. He accepted his crate when asked and never lifted his leg in the house. He sits in front of the doorway before being let out. On leash he is pretty good. Amy Robinson has done lots of training with him (Her website is www.DroolSchool.com ) and she teaches him new things in minutes.
Cash is very exuberant and likes to mouth gently. He seems quite young. The mouthing is better now, and he knows “Out.” If he gets over-excited, he wants to sort of hit-and-run either by mouthing as he cruises past or body slamming. Amy did not care for that so it is 99% history.
He loves to bite and drag a palm frond (what Florida dog doesn’t?) and zoom around the yard. He bonds quickly and now follows his foster mom around the house. Cash is a good watchdog with a deep bark so he gets put in the crate if someone new goes in the house, then he gets to greet after a couple of minutes. He is always friendly to the person. We believe he’s had a bad experience or 2 with a hose, since he shrinks away and looks worried. He does let his foster mom give him a bath quite calmly but they started slowly.
Cash is a compact 76 pound, energetic bundle of love.
