Hi! My name is Conrad. I’m a 2 year old male Rottweiler mix. Don’t get my looks fool you, I only weigh approximately 45 lbs! My fluffy fur makes me look bigger in size. I am a very calm dog. I don’t chew on things and I don’t jump on people. My foster family thinks I’m 2 going on 60! I’m so quiet that they started calling me “Whisper”.

I currently live in Savannah, GA with a 9-year old boy, a 6-year old girl, and a 6 month old male Rottweiler. It took me sometime before I started warming up to them, but I eventually did.

I enjoy playing with everyone in my foster family. I especially love to chase around the puppy. When it’s time for bed, I go straight into my crate. I love sleeping in my crate. It “protects” me from the 6 month old if I don’t want to be bothered. My foster parents believe I can use some basic training. They have tried to train me basic commands like sit or down, but haven’t found a good reward for me since I’m not food motivated.

I walk great on a leash. I do like to dig, and sit in dirt.  I didn’t mind getting a bath, but you do have to brush my fur.

Step 1:   Please complete the adoption application in full; incomplete applications WILL NOT BE PROCESSED

Step 2:   Our Lead Adoption Coordinator will contact you and confirm your application has been received (please use our Contact Us form if you have not gotten a response within 7 days).

Step 3:   After you have received confirmation from our Lead Adoption Coordinator, your application will then be forwarded to communicate with one of our Adoption Coordinators.  The Adoption Coordinator is your point of contact during the adoption process.  

Step 4:   Once the Adoption Coordinator has finished processing your application, a volunteer will be selected to contact you to schedule a home visit. Home visits allow us to see where the dog will live, discuss any questions you have and review our adoption contract.

Step 5:   Once the application process is completed, the adoption package goes to the board of directors for a 24 hour review.
