Hello everybody my name is Abby. I currently live with a male Rottweiler. I’m three and a half years old, spayed and have a fantastic, outgoing personality. I do great around other dogs. I am house broken, spayed, and up to date on shots. I know sit and stay and I walk well on a leash. I love to chase squirrels which is my favorite thing to do. Everyone who meets me falls in love with me. I am very sweet, loving, and so gentle. I love to go on car rides and I travel really well. I love to talk and will carry on a whole conversation with you. I also love to lounge on the couch and am very laid back.

I have bilateral hip dysplasia which prevents me from being as active as other dogs my age but I still love to play and run around for short periods of time. I have to take pain and anti-inflammatory medication every day to feel my best. My foster mom currently takes me to acupuncture once a week and that has seemed to help my hip dysplashia. Foster mom says I'm overweight so she put me on a diet. Its not that bad though. I get to  snack on carrots and eat green beans with my dog food. I've already lost four pounds but foster mom says I need to lose several more pounds. I would do best in a house with no steps, since I have problems getting up steps and it's hard on my hips. My foster mom takes me on several short walks a day because if I sit too long I get stiff and have trouble getting around. If you have any questions about me please email my foster mom.

Please donate to Abby's hip surgery.
