Hi !! My name is Pebbles. I was found wandering the streets in Ft Worth, Texas in April, with my friend BamBam. We were picked up by the dog police and taken to the kill shelter. Luckily someone got in touch with SSRR and we were saved !!! After a 14 hour trip we have found ourselves in Georgia with foster parents and a 7 year old foster sister. I am a really good girl. My foster parents say that I am a pig and think they need to change my name to Piggles. I do like to eat. My foster mom says that it is probably because I have been taking prednisone for itchy skin. I just finished it though, so hopefully my appetite will get back to normal. They say I am heartworm positive and they are getting ready to start treatment. My foster parents say that I am jealous. I just love attention. If my friend BamBam is getting attention I have to get in on the action ....I even sit on BamBam's head so that I can get all the love. I love to go for car rides and go to new places. I LOVE to meet new people. I get along with other dogs. I am not too fond of cats...I like to chase them. I also like to chase squirrels and birds. My foster parents say that I have a very strong prey drive. I do live with two ferrets and I like for my foster mom or dad to hold them and let me smell of them. I am learning basic commands and progressing with sit and down. I walk well on leash. My foster parents say that I am very treat motivated. I don't mind if my foster parents or sister put their hands in my food bowl while I am eating or take things away from me. I like to go into the laundry room and drag out articles of clothing. I guess I just want to have my foster parents/sister's smell close to me. I am not crazy about being crated, but I tolerate it. I do better if my friend BamBam is beside me. I love to go, but I am just as happy lounging around the house all day. SSRR is hoping to find someone that will open their hearts to me and my good friend BamBam, as we are very attached to one another. Could that be you? I mean really...the only thing better than a Rotti is TWO !!!
