My name is Lilly and I am a Rotti, German Shepherd mix. I don't know when I was born, but the vet thinks that I am 2yrs old. My Foster mom calls me a 'Southern Belle' because I am petite and soooo pretty. I didn't look that way when the rescue group saved me. My time was up, my beautiful coat was falling out because I was so hungry and I was pregnant. I was able to have my puppies in a Foster Home instead of the street where I had been starving. I am learning that there is always food and water, but just in case, I cover my dishes with paper or towels, so that nobody can find it and leave me hungry again. It's nice living inside and not being in the rain all the time and my beautiful coat is growing back. My Foster mom has been giving me things that squeak and roll. She seems happy when I carry them around, and I really love when she pets me, holds me close and tells me I'm a good girl. I never go potty in my warm room where I hide my food and my squeaky things. My Foster mom says that I am really smart. She says that she will help me find a home where I can stay forever and never be hungry and that people will pet and hold me and tell me every day what a good girl I am. That sounds really nice.
