About Luna | |
|
|
Luna came to us from the Humane Society of Davie County in North Carolina. Luna was adopted in May but has proven to be just a bit too playful for their older boy so she is now back in SSRR and residing in the Virginia Beach area of Virginia.
Luna does well with other dogs as long as they don’t try to steal her food from her or take a toy she’s playing with. If they do then she will give a good little rumble to let them know that is not acceptable.
Luna loves people and attention. She likes belly rubs and being pet and she really loves it if you decide to play with her. She’ll play as rough as you want but will stop immediately when told to. All you have to say is sit and that butt of hers hits the floor.
Luna walks very well on a leash and will stay right by your side unless she sees a squirrel or a bunny but if that happens then a simple “leave it” will get her attention back to you and her walk.
With her energy level, Luna would do best with an active person/family that doesn’t just sit around all day. If you are a jogger then that would be even better. She would do best as an only dog or with another dog who doesn’t mind playing. She will not be adopted to a family with an older dog, kids under 12 or a family with cats.
