Hi, my name is Ramses and I want to take a few minutes to tell you all about myself. You see, I am a special guy, so I will need someone just as special to call me theirs forever.

I am special in a few ways so please bear with me. For starters, I am heartworm positive. This is a pain in the butt for me, but doesn't have to be for you. Currently I am under going treatment for it and expect to be ready for my forever home soon! I will have to lead a quiet life for awhile, but to be honest I'm not really a crazy kid anyway. This is another reason I am special. I was rescued by SSRR from a shelter and prior to that I was a stray. My prior life was a little dark and things I am unfamiliar with can really scare me.

I need someone who can go slow with me and show me that there are SOOO many nice people in the world. I want to believe that, just need someone to help me through everything and help me believe. I don't particularly care for most dogs, and though I've never met a cat I am quite sure I would think they are yucky. Some dogs I like! Though to be honest, it depends on how I'm feeling that day. I'd love to be an only furchild so you and I can navigate the world slowly together and we can learn to trust each other and with time, be each others best friend.

I do hope there is someone just as special as me out there willing to give me a chance at forever family love. Thanks so much for listening to me.

Step 1:   Please complete the adoption application in full; incomplete applications WILL NOT BE PROCESSED

Step 2:   Our Lead Adoption Coordinator will contact you and confirm your application has been received (please use our Contact Us form if you have not gotten a response within 7 days).

Step 3:   After you have received confirmation from our Lead Adoption Coordinator, your application will then be forwarded to communicate with one of our Adoption Coordinators.  The Adoption Coordinator is your point of contact during the adoption process.  

Step 4:   Once the Adoption Coordinator has finished processing your application, a volunteer will be selected to contact you to schedule a home visit. Home visits allow us to see where the dog will live, discuss any questions you have and review our adoption contract.

Step 5:   Once the application process is completed, the adoption package goes to the board of directors for a 24 hour review.
