Paisley and her brother were found as strays in Georgia.  They were taken in by a wonderful couple and vetted.  Since they were unable to keep the puppies they contacted SSRR to help them find homes.  Paisley is now being fostered in the suburbs of Northern Virginia with a 10yo rottie boy and a 1.5yo hound mix.  Paisley is great with all dogs and has done well with all humans (young and old).  She rides beautifully in the car, walks well on a leash (she may pull if she gets excited but takes correction well), house and crate trained.  She is learning her commands and knows sit, working on come, down and stay.

Paisley is a very laid back puppy.  She loves going on walks with her foster brothers, playing with her toys, wrestling with her foster brother and playing bitey-face.  She is quiet, has nice house manners and loves to take naps.  She is estimated to be about 6 months old and our best guess is that she is a rottie/hound mix.

Paisley is a very sweet and good-natured puppy.  She does not have a mean bone in her body.  She is fun loving, smart and will make a great addition to any family.

Step 1:   Please complete the adoption application in full; incomplete applications WILL NOT BE PROCESSED

Step 2:   Our Lead Adoption Coordinator will contact you and confirm your application has been received (please use our Contact Us form if you have not gotten a response within 7 days).

Step 3:   After you have received confirmation from our Lead Adoption Coordinator, your application will then be forwarded to communicate with one of our Adoption Coordinators.  The Adoption Coordinator is your point of contact during the adoption process.  

Step 4:   Once the Adoption Coordinator has finished processing your application, a volunteer will be selected to contact you to schedule a home visit. Home visits allow us to see where the dog will live, discuss any questions you have and review our adoption contract.

Step 5:   Once the application process is completed, the adoption package goes to the board of directors for a 24 hour review.
