About Samarah | |
Samarah’s sweetness is what drew her foster mom to her. Since she has been with her, her foster mom has fallen in love with her, from Samarah’s whole body wiggles to her sitting on foster mom’s head. She has been great with all except one of the family cats. She will stalk her but the moment caught and called off she is fine. The other cat sits on her crate and she doesn't care about it. She’s fine with the other dogs. Plays like crazy with the family Pit, gives the Great Dane a run for his money and delicately steps around the older girl. Samarah is not that great with the son's bird or with the chickens. The chickens are in a pen in the yard. She watches them very closely but doesn't actively go after them.
Samarah loves her crate and uses her chew bone as a binky and sucks on it. She adores her 14 year old human foster brother and loves to kick him out of the bed! She is great with nail trims and baths and no problems or fears going to the vet. She rides great in a car and recalls when off leash. She knows sit and crates on command.
Samarah is working on other commands and is very treat driven but doesn’t try to take food from anyone. She does get obsessive over laser lights. She’s very laid back, but if another dominant dog tries to assert themselves over her she will not back down from them. She doesn't pick a fight but won’t back down either. She is the best snuggle bug ever!! Oh and she has sent Santa a letter asking for a sweater. She does not like the cold at all!
