About Kelso | |
|
|
Kelso is a very sweet and playful young Rottweiler mix. He is great with kids, even young ones! He currently lives with kids ages 3, 4 and 6 and is a doll with them. They even feed him and he waits until they set the bowl down to dive in. He's OK with cats and is BFFs with his foster sister who is a 6 month old Lab/Pit mix puppy and the same size as Kelso. He prefers to spend all his time with her and whines when I don’t let them out together. He will lay there and let her chew and pounce on him. He just adores her. Kelso also loves tug of war with the kids and his foster dog sister. He likes rawhides, squeeky toys and playing fetch.
Other great things about this fine young man is that he is house and crate trained. He sleeps in his crate at night and doesn’t make a peep as long as he goes outside before bed. He shows no toy or food aggression. He eats a few feet away from his foster sister with no issues. His foster sister, however, doesn’t like it when he approaches her while she is eating and he backs off until she is done.
Kelso will need someone to keep him occupied and give him plenty of exercise. He is mischievous and likes to dig, so a job or something to keep his mind busy will be important. Lots of exercise will help as a tired dog is a good dog. :) He can be shy and timid if he’s uncomfortable with something or someone but does warm up.
Kelso is such a sweet, handsome boy who will make someone a wonderful pet. Could that be you?
