Hello!  My name is Brinley!  I was picked up as a stray after being found wrapped in a sheet in a field.  My leg was broken but I had to wait 7 days until my stray hold was up before I could be rescued.  As soon as my stray hold was up, my foster mom picked me up and drove me straight to the vet so I could get surgery.  Even with a broken leg everyone at the shelter and vet adored me because of my loving personality.  I had to be on kennel rest and leash walked for several weeks so I could heal.  Now that I am 100% I can run and play and you would never know that my leg had been broken at all.  Luckily it was not broken on the growth plate, so no one can even tell that I had surgery.

I am a young puppy with a lot of energy!  I love toys and since my foster brother is a Lab I even will fetch a ball.  I like to play with other dogs but my senior foster sister does not like it when I play too rough so I need someone my own size/energy level.  I live with three children which I adore.  However I would be best with children ages 10 and up since I can knock over the littlest human when playing.  I am a happy, friendly girl probably around a year or so.  When I was found I was significantly underweight and still look like I am on the lean side.  I should fill out more as I grow older.  Even though I didn’t weigh much when they found me I do not have any food issues.  I am a quick learner and love treats.  I know “sit” and “kennel”, like to play with my toys, and want to be near you always.  I have seen two small cats in the house but they hiss at me when I get near them.  I’m still curious about them and would love if they would let me get closer.

My foster family wishes they could adopt me and keep me forever.  I am such a sweet and loving puppy.  But I really need someone who has more time during the day to play with me and teach me.  I walk nicely on a leash and haven’t met anyone I don’t like.  I love my toys and people.  My foster family is going to cry when I get adopted so you will need to keep in touch with them and send pictures to show them how happy I am with you!

Fun fact:  I have a foot fetish.  If you are wearing shoes or barefeet I will lick them to show you how much I love you :)
