Hi, I’m Jasmine! A good Samaritan saw me dodging cars in Houston during a horrible storm. Not having a place to keep me safe, my finders put me in the adoption program at the SPCA. I contracted kennel cough at the shelter, which turned into a horrible case of pneumonia. Unfortunately, the SPCA will not adopt out sick dogs so SSRR, pulled me out of the shelter, even though I'm clearly not a Rottweiler. The SPCA planned to euthanize me that day. My awesome foster mom, who's also a dog trainer, took me straight to the vet where I received around-the-clock care for a week to save my life. Now I am healthy and ready to live my happily ever after.

My foster mom teaches me new stuff daily. She showed me how to walk on a leash, how to sit, how to not be scared of new things, and how to hang out in a group of dogs. She introduces me to people, cats, dogs, and kids. I don't know why, but she keeps saying I can be social. It was scary at first, but now I like all this new attention and love. My foster people say I'm awesome, but they have a full house of animals and I can't stay forever. I need a great person who is patient and will continue my training and give me lots of belly rubs -- those are really important.

My foster mom wants to help my adopter learn how to train me, she's really great! Do you want to be my family?
